THE HISTORY OF RE/MAX Cayman Islands First Realty of Cayman: Kim Lund opened its doors at Regency
Court in February 1990. In July 1991, the contracts were signed and Brenda joined Kim to open RE/MAX First Realty. RE/MAX First Realty, located in the Seven Mile Shops opened its doors to the public in November 1991. |

Working in the 2,000 sq.ft office at that time were, Kim Lund: Broker/Owner,Edna Ebanks: Sales Associate and a Receptionist. RE/MAX First Realty took three years to stabilize considering the investment of setting up and the interior work that was done. Kim and Brenda decided to go with the RE/MAX name because of its broad recognition in the North American Market as well as the standard of professionalism that the name portrays. |

Kim and Brendas beliefs and philosophies about the business have always been to provide a better service, be more competitive than anyone else and to wait for and hire the best employees versus growing too quickly. Top ten awards to Kim and Brenda Lund were as follows:
RE/MAX First Realty changed to RE/MAX Cayman Islands in 1996.
After more than a years struggle with breast cancer, Brenda Lund passed away in August of 1998, but her memory lives on in the RE/MAX office. Her driving force in the company is evident in everything synonymous with the name of RE/MAX Cayman Islands.
James Bovell, who has been a Sales Associate with RE/MAX
Cayman Islands since 1994, became Co-Broker/Owner on November 1st, 1998.
